What is a Baby MOT?
A Baby MOT is a thorough, play-based physical assessment conducted by a specialist paediatric physiotherapist.
A Baby MOT takes a deep dive into your baby’s neuromuscular movement, posture, joint flexibility, and milestone progress.
It’s an opportunity to ensure your baby is moving symmetrically, comfortably, and on track for key early milestones like head control, reaching, rolling, sitting, and crawling.
Who is a Baby MOT for?
A baby MOT is suitable for any baby from 0-12 months. It may be especially beneficial for any of the following:
Premature or difficult birth.
Tummy time difficulties.
Muscle tension.
Difficultly with any gross motor milestones.
